What about your mess?

What about your mess?

I have a confession to make: I was a mess this weekend! On Saturday, we celebrated the birthday of my sister, Jorja, who passed away last year.  Even though it’s getting easier to make it through these milestone dates, they are still reminders of the huge loss our whole family feels.  On top of that, I have been behind on a business course I paid a lot of money for, I have several unfinished business projects that are weighing on my heart, and several other triggers came up.  I didn't get enough sleep the night before our day trip to Birmingham on Sunday.  While there, I planned to meet with Hillary, another coach on my team.  We were supposed to talk briefly about our new coaching program, but as soon as we sat down, I came apart.  Hillary did a session with me right then and there.  My heart and soul were ready to release emotions that had been buried so deep, the only evidence of them was paralyzing feelings of overwhelm, procrastination, judgement of myself and others, negative head talk, and mental fatigue.  Why am I sharing this?  This energy work experience I had with Hillary reminded me of some important truths that apply to everyone:#1 If you feel like you are a mess, it is okay; it’s only temporary  #2 Take a step back and realize that your mess is a gift.  It's your wake up call.  It's the call to pay attention to what is happening underneath the mess#3 You are not alone.  God always has your back.  Your current challenges are there to help you strengthen your connection to God.  When you feel that God has your back, life feels better.  You can keep going with more mental clarity, energy, hope, and optimism.  In that 40 minutes I had with Hillary, not one single situation changed.  I was still behind on my business course, my  projects were still unfinished, the situations that triggered me hadn't gone away, but... I feltdifferent.  I walked out of that room with red eyes and a runny nose, but I had never felt so confident, hopeful, optimistic, and clear.  During that session with Hillary, my connection to God was renewed. When you let go of deep emotional hurts, you also let go of all the lies that perpetuate those hurts.  The lies that tell you things like: you are not enough, you are not worthy to be seen & heard, your feelings don't matter, people will be mad at you when you speak up.  These lies keep you in the worst kind of bondage.  They keep you stuck in fear, and that keeps you from playing big and showing up in your full light.  How does that show up in your life?  Procrastination, judgement, resentment, addiction, zoning out, anger, a short temper, overwhelm, negative head talk, fuzzy brain, excuses, manipulating others, feeling manipulated, low self-esteem, low self-worth, negativity, money problems, and so much more.  You have a choice.  I have a choice.  Do you stay stuck in this emotional, mental, and spiritual bondage?  Or do you see the symptoms for what they really are?  The symptoms are not you. They are simply your wake-up call.  My team and I are expertsat identifying the symptoms, getting to the root of the lies, and replacing them with truth.  I am an expert, and I stillhave to do this work.  The truth is, if you want to keep moving forward, you must keep waking up on deeper and deeper levels of your divine self.  This is what brings greater divine connection, healing, peace, hope, and success.Nike says it best:  "There's no finish line to self-improvement.”Take advantage of a special opportunity to work with Hillary in a weekly group coaching experience.  She is an amazing coach and her ability to support you will change your life.  It has definitely changed mine.
