Mind Chatter - 3 Simple Steps to Clean it Up!  (Part 2)

  Hopefully you are seeing a new perspective about your negative mind chatter...no need to beat yourself up about it, we all have it, and with the right tools, we have the choice of whether to focus on it or let it go.  What did you think about STEP ONE in the last blog post?  Are you taking 5 minutes each day to be still and listen to the "Opening" music?  Are you ready for STEP TWO?
 
One of my favorite sayings is:  WHAT YOU FOCUS ON EXPANDS.  If you are paying a lot of attention to your negative self-talk, then you are expanding your experience of your focus.  If you want to change your experience from frustration, anger, overwhelm, "bad luck" and lack of energy, then begin to pay attention to your thoughts and have the intention of letting the negative talk go.
 
STEP TWO:  Pay attention to your self-talk.  When you notice negative thoughts coming in about yourself OR others, simply notice it, and tell yourself:  "I am willing to let that go and I am willing to feel peace and love".  When I first started practicing this, I felt overwhelmed by how many times I had to tell myself...I am willing to let that go.  The more I was willing to let THAT feeling of overwhelm go, the easier it became to naturally just let negative thoughts move right along and not get stuck focusing on them. 
 
I began to learn that I have a choice in how I feel - and now I have a powerful yet simple tool to share with you so you can make that choice too!  "I am willing to let that go."  "I am willing to feel love, peace, forgiveness and joy."
 
PRACTICE is the key!  PRACTICE EVERY DAY for the rest of your life and CHOOSE to have love and peace even through life's ups and downs.
