I have a new client...we'll call her Annie. She came to me like all my clients do, looking for a way to get out of the place she is in. On the outside, her life looks (and is) amazing. She's at the very top of her business, she has a great husband who is supportive and successful in his own career, they have two great little kiddos, they serve others, and they travel the world doing good. When Annie told me about her life and then about what is going on in the inside, it was such a great reminder to me that there is no such thing as finally "arriving." No matter what your circumstances are in life, there is always inner work to do - ALWAYS. The beautiful gift of doing your inner work is not only the healing, peace, forgiveness, and expansion of love that occurs, but the results also affect your relationships, business, finances, opportunities to help and serve others, and so many other things!! When you experience patterns in your life such as procrastination, disorganization, lack of motivation, lack of focus, lack of boundaries, being quick to anger, quick to blame, never enough money, time or resources, etc, please just remember - these patterns are just little alarm clocks. They do not equal who you are! They are your opportunity to wake up and learn the truth about who you really are and what you are really capable of. Waking up gives you the chance get on a different path into a life that brings you joy.Annie has a heart that wants to heal. She wants to show up in her life being her best self. She wants to let go of the pain of her past and be free to move forward, loving herself and sharing that love with everyone in her life. She wants to wake up to the truth about herself. She wants to get her inner game moving; she's done hitting the brick wall over and over again.During our second session, she was in a parking garage. At the end of our conversation, she started her car and began to leave the parking garage. She looked up and saw a “dead end” sign and realized she was driving in the opposite direction. What a perfect sign from heaven she received! She caught the meaning right away and felt assured that she was on the right track to move in a completely different direction on the inside and knew things would finally be different for her.What dead ends have you hit?
