Got Holiday Bliss?

Got Holiday Bliss?

The holidays are here!  For many people it is a time of connection and fun, gathering with family and friends.  For others, the gatherings feel awkward because of past hurts, or full of grief while missing loved ones.  Here are some tips to keep you feeling your best no matter what your personal situation is:#1 - Give yourself permission to feel whatever feelings come up for you.  Just be okay with it - the good, bad and the ugly.  I have noticed that one of the biggest struggles people have is NOT being okay with how they feel.  Have you ever heard someone say, "I shouldn't feel that way," or "I should just get over it?"  Just sit with your feelings.  Let them be what they are.#2 - Let go of your end of the rope.Sometimes we get in this tug-o-war fight with our thoughts and feelings, and there's a lot of shame in the fight of feeling one way but telling yourself you shouldn't feel that way.  What if you just dropped your end of the rope?  What if letting go of the struggle is the secret to letting go?#3 -Use your imagination.  Before you go to an event, visualize yourself at the event.  See yourself walking through the door with confidence, love, and the intention of focusing on being at ease with others, listening, and letting go of any judgments or frustrations.  Feel what it feels like to interact with love.  Feel what if feels like to just be able to let things go as they come up, to not take things personally, and to be free to meet people where they're at.#4 - Protect and power up. Say a little prayer and use your essential oils.  Melaleuca and Terrashield over your heart and solar plexus for energetic boundary support.  Wild Orange and Frankincense on the back of your neck and wrists to reduce stress and support divine connection.  Balance and Serenity on the bottoms of your feet to support emotional grounding and peace.  #5 - Give yourself Grace. Allow yourself to choose to show up because you want to, not out of obligation.  Ask your heart if saying yes or no is for your highest good.  Give yourself permission to leave early or take a break when you need it.  Sometimes we need to refresh! If you’ve tried everything to let go of the struggles and triggers, then you’re going to love what I have to offer during December.
